We've been growing cherry tomatoes, and here is some of our first crop for the summer. It is such a lovely thing to pick something that has grown in your own garden. Such a simple thing, but it just brings so much pleasure.
Ah, beautiful vine ripened tomatoes of summer. Unfortunately for us at this time of year we can only get hot house tomatoes or tomatoes from South America that were picked green and packed.
Hi Barbara! How cold is it at your place at this time of year? It certainly is nice to have summer tomatoes, but we still have to pick them when they only have the very first bit of colour on them or they get stung by little insects and ruined. The good thing is, that once we pick them they are this ripe in about 2 days. Do you have some winter crops on the go?
